Who we are
PokeFwiends runs pokefwiends.co.uk and is the controller of the personal data described here, under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. If you have a question about your data, email hello@pull-hub.com.
- Trading name
- PokeFwiends
- hello@pull-hub.com
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and a scrambled (hashed) version of your password.
- Order details: what you bought, your delivery address, your phone number if you give one, and the amounts paid.
- Live pulls: the name you choose to show in the queue, which is public on the live page.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Basic technical data such as your IP address, used to stop abuse like repeated sign-in attempts.
Why we use it
- To take payment, deliver your order and run live pulls you've booked. This is needed to carry out our contract with you.
- To email you about your orders, your pulls and any refunds, for the same reason.
- To keep accounting and tax records, because the law requires it.
- To keep the site secure and prevent fraud, which is in our legitimate interests and yours.
We don't sell your personal data, and we don't send marketing emails without your permission.
Cookies
We only use cookies that the site needs to work: they keep your cart, your sign-in and your checkout going, and remember your cookie choice.
Who we share it with
- Stripe, to process payments.
- Our email provider, to send order and pull emails.
- Our hosting provider, which runs the servers the site lives on.
- Delivery companies, who need your address to deliver your parcel.
- Whatnot, where our shows stream. Their own privacy policies apply when you watch there.
Some of these providers handle data outside the UK. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by the safeguards UK data protection law requires.
How long we keep it
We keep order and payment records for six years, as HMRC requires. You can ask us to close your account at any time by emailing hello@pull-hub.com, and we delete the account details we no longer need.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it or delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to have a copy to take elsewhere. Email hello@pull-hub.com and we'll reply within one month.
If you're not happy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date below, and tell you by email if the change is significant.
